2009 Xmas Fashion Gift Guide

Tis’ the season to go shopping!!  One of my favorite pass times whether it be for myself or those closest to me.

As much as I love to shop though, you won’t find me anywhere near a mall come December.  I prefer to skip the lines, the fighting over parking spaces and the freezing weather, grab my laptop and my cozy slippers, kick back on the couch and get down to business!  Trust me, it makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable when there is no strange woman elbowing you passive agressively to get to the front of the line…

So for all the fashionistas on your list, I give you my holiday fashion gift guide for 2009 courtesy of Singer22.com!

KAiN Label Pocket Tank in 8 Colors

I’m a Kain label addict and your lucky recipient will surely become one too once she feels how silky soft these tops are (probably helps that they’re made with 10% silk!)  The newest addition to the line has some beautifully rich colors such as this one that would look great paired with a cropped blazer and jeans.

Mother’s Day Gift Guide

You shouldn’t need an excuse to give something awesome to the woman who helped create you, but Mother’s Day sure is a good one!

Here are some of my picks.

If your Mom likes to cook, pick her up a copy of Hungry Girl’s latest cookbook.  It’s chock full of yummy, time friendly recipes that are all under 200 calories!

I love Whitman’s as much as the next gal but I’ve been coveting this particular box of chocolates for months now.  Some of the unique flavor combinations include Five-Spice Praline Pear, Balsamic Strawberry Creme and Ginger Crunch Caramel.  Is your mouth watering yet?

Of course there’s always the old stand by of flowers but why not switch it up and let Mom grow her own?!

Of course, she can also grow her own herbs, fruits and veggies, no green thumb required.

If your Mom is like most, she’s always doing for others but not herself.  Celebrate her with a gift certificate to a spa so she can enjoy a day of pampering!

Never underestimate the power of the gift card either!  My Mom happens to love them because then she can get herself exactly what she wants.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone!
